Police seek driver who caused major accident on Kennedy

Church members in Milwaukee say they are grateful the accident involving their pastor and fellow members wasn’t worse than it could have been.

At least 14 people were sent to hospitals last night after a hit-and-run driver caused a church van and another car to spin out of control.

Twelve ambulances responded to the crash which caused a partial closure of the Kennedy Expressway on the outbound side near Ohio Street.

Everyone involved in the crash are expected to be OK.

A pastor and a small child were the most severely injured.  They are expected to make a full recovery.

The church members were traveling back to Milwaukee after attending a funeral.

The outbound lanes were closed for about an hour.

Police are looking for the hit-and-run driver.

"Church members in Milwaukee say they are grateful the accident involving their pastor and fellow members wasn’t worse than it could have been." Since it's not possible to be worse than it could have been, she probably meant to say "…wasn't worse than it was."
Everyone involved in the crash IS expected to be OK (not are expected).
Sixth sentence, last word should be recovery, not recover.
