Two trains collided in Missouri, one erupted into flames

National and World NewsFederal investigators are trying to determine how two freight trains collided in Southeast Missouri, near Saint Louis, injuring seven people.

A Union Pacific train hit a Burlington Northern train resulting in a fuel spill that caused one of the trains to erupt into flames.

Two cars were on a bridge when the collision caused the overpass to collapse.

Five people in those vehicles suffered broken bones.

A conductor and train engineer had only minor injuries.
