Education officials are warning parents in the Evanston area about a ‘sexting’ incident involving the boys’ baseball team at Evanston Township High School .
A letter from Superintendent Eric Witherspoon was sent to families saying the administration investigated an incident in which girls at the school sent “inappropriate photos of themselves” to members of the varsity baseball team. The photos were then circulated further.
According to the letter, “appropriate actions have been taken.
Evanston police and the Dept of Children and Family Services were also consulted about the incident and declined to take any action.
