Scattered rain showers across Chicagoland

Cloud cover along with on and off showers and storms will keep temperatures down Tuesday as highs fail to reach 80 for the first time in four days.

Showers, with a few storms are likely throughout the day with rainfall amounts of 1/2 inch to 1 inch possible.  Scattered showers are expected through tonight and into Thursday morning.

We’ll be much cooler tomorrow with strong north winds making highs in the mid to upper 50s feel even colder.  After morning showers, the forecast calls for afternoon sunshine.

Sunny skies will return Friday, but temperatures will remain cool with highs in the low 60s inland, while lake-shore temps stay in the 50s.
