Partly sunny, chance for severe storms; High – 85
It will continue to feel like summer as warm and somewhat humid air hangs over the region.
South/southwest winds and partly sunny skies are forecast to push temperatures into the low to mid-80s this afternoon.
A small chance for a few isolated showers or thunderstorms will continue today, mainly during the afternoon hours.
There remains a slight risk that any storms today could be severe, with the best chance for that south and east of downtown Chicago.
Showers and storms are likely tonight and Wednesday. Scattered showers will remain possible Thursday as cooler air moves into the area.
