Teachers, parents march in protest of CPS closings
Teachers, students and parents held more marches today protesting plans to close 53 Chicago elementary schools and one high school program.
The three-day protest was organized by the Chicago Teachers Union.
Marchers have been visiting areas across the city that will be impacted by the proposed school closings.
Some parents have expressed concerns that their children might have to walk a significantly greater distance to get to their new schools.
The marches began yesterday and will continue tomorrow culminating at City Hall.
