Man killed after being hit by Orange Line train
Service on the CTA Orange Line has been temporarily suspended between Roosevelt and 35th Street after a man was stuck and killed.
It happened at about 4:30 p.m. just north of the Orange Line’s Halsted stop. The person was dead on the scene, according to the Chicago Fire Department’s news office.
A bus-shuttle was being implemented between Roosevelt and 35th Street on the line, a CTA spokeswoman said.
