Proposal allows 17-year-olds to vote in Illinois

The Illinois Senate has sent a measure to Governor Quinn allowing 17-year-olds to vote in primary elections who will turn 18-years-old before the November general elections.

The measure, which overwhelmingly cleared the Illinois House last month, passed the Senate with a vote of 43-9.

No word yet on how soon the Governor may decide on the measure.

Great, more uneducated voters voting for the pretty candidate or the handsome candidate, the candidate that tells the best fairy tale like stories, that promises them free stuff.
