Though it won’t be as hot as Tuesday, we’ll remain at least ten degrees warmer than average today.
A mild start with partly cloudy skies should allow temperatures to reach the low 80s by midday. As a weak cold front sags through the region winds will shift more northerly in the afternoon and locations along the lakefront could see temperatures fall into the low 60s by late in the afternoon.
We’ll look for partly cloudy skies and quiet conditions tonight as low reach the mid-50s. Partly sunny skies will help keep temperatures down a touch tomorrow with highs in the upper 70s inland, while it stays cooler along the lake.
The chance for showers and thunderstorms returns to the forecast Friday and continues through the weekend.
