Blackhawks, Red Wings last conference playoff clash

One of the oldest rivalries in pro sports heats up on the ice tonight when the Chicago Blackhawks face the Detroit Red Wings in the second round of the NHL playoffs.

Game one of the best-of-seven series will be the 800th meeting between to two teams, dating back to 1926.

This series also marks the end of an era for the longtime rivals.

Detroit moves to the Eastern Conference next year while Chicago stays in the West.

Tonight’s game starts at 7pm at the United Center.
