Midday Fix: Small spaces, big style
A part of living well is to surround yourself with things you love, go ahead frame those concert tickets or that card your mom sent that made you feel good as soon as you opened it.
Don’t be afraid of the sectional in a small space, they can work well in corners, which are typically unused space, they seat a lot of people and can also serve as a guest bed.
Use a very neutral palette as a base then use color pops in your accessories. Beige/gray sofa, colored pillows and rugs. Neutral wall color, but colorful art. Too much color can make for a busy space and in ‘small-space’ there isn’t room for busy.
Utilize unique storage ideas. For example, use hooks at the entrance instead of using your entrance closet only for jackets.
Use unique furniture pieces to frame “areas” within your space.
