Race for the Cure today, honors Maggie Daley

Thousands of runners gather in Grant Park Sunday morning for the annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.

The Daley family served as honorary chairs of the event, in memory of Chicago’s former First Lady Maggie Daley.

Maggie Daley battled cancer before passing away in 2011.
