Limo driver arrested for driving students to prom while drunk

The 23 students on board a party bus to the Oswego East High School prom were fortunate to arrive at the event Saturday safely. Their driver, Richard L Madison of Pallos Heights, was arrested and charged with DUI and reckless conduct.

Teens on the bus noticed Madison was driving erratically and they text messaged their parents.

When they arrived at Abbington Banquets in unincorporated Glen Ellyn, the DuPage County Sheriff’s Department was waiting for Madison and he was given a breathalyzer test.

I am glad the young adults were attentive enough to notice how he was driving and notified their parents of the situation because it could has been disastrous. I hope they enjoyed the rest of their prom.

The kids did right!!! Congrats kids. They snitched on a drunk driver, which really isn't snitching but…

If neighbors in Chicago were to snitch on the gangbangers, gangbangers selling dope, gangbangers shooting up the neighborhood, the outcome could be the same. The problem (in this case the drunkie), in other cases the gang problem could be better addressed and elminated by the authorities. Keeping quiet and not saying anything will eventually get someone hurt or killed, maybe even someone you love.
