Chicago cop accidentally shot by partner while responding to call

A Chicago police officer was treated and released after he was accidentally shot in the leg by another officer.

Police say the two officers and a supervisor were responding to a call in progress at a building on 72nd and South Racine in Englewood, Monday night.

When officers got to the second floor, a dog charged at them and one officer fired his weapon striking the dog and also the other officer in the thigh.
