Commuters heading to the Loop will be happy to know that the Wells Street Bridge has been reopened.
The CTA’s Brown and Purple Lines are returning to their normal schedules this morning.
Workers have been replacing the northern end of the bridge for the past nine days.
The southern end was replaced in March.
The project caused CTA riders to reroute or to take shuttle buses.
No more major CTA closures are expected.
But the bridge is still closed for pedestrians and drivers.
