Pop-up Art Loop: Temporary galleries take over empty downtown storefronts

On tonight’s WGN News at Five, we’re checking out the Pop-Up Art Loop’s new pop-up art galleries. The Chicago Loop Alliance group creates partnerships between artists and property owners in the downtown area, setting up temporary galleries in vacant prime locations.

We’ll post the story here after it airs. If you’d like to visit any of the galleries, log on to popupartloop.com. They have a current list of what’s running and where.

Have another art exhibit/installation you think we should visit? Let’s hear about it in the comments below!

There's a place downtown La Grange that has this amazing storefront of rolled paper turned art and fashion. It's right on La Grange Road. SO COOL!
