A suspended police officer from Indiana, who’s already facing drunk driving charges in the death of a motorcyclist, is arrested again.
David Bisard was arrested on Saturday after running his truck into a guardrail, a sign and a power pole in Lawrence, Indiana.
No one was injured, but police say his blood alcohol level was twice the legal limit.
According to an arrest report obtained by WISH-TV Bisard told officer, “I know you know who I am. I messed up today. If you guys can cut me a break, I promise I will never drink again.”
In 2010, Bisard was accused of being being drunk when he crashed his patrol car into two motorcycles killing one rider.
The case was originally thrown out over allegations the bloodwork was handled incorrectly.
An appellate court later overruled that claim after prosecutors refiled seven felony charges against him, including reckless homicide.
Bisard is expected to be in court on last weekend’s arrest on Wednesday.
