Chicago to launch ‘Divvy’ bike sharing program

The Chicago Department of Transportation will launch a new bike sharing program later this spring.

The Divvy program will make bikes available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, every day of the year.

Bikes can be picked up and returned at Divvy stations located near schools, shopping districts, transit stations and other locations.

Users can buy $75 yearly memberships, or $7 daily passes.

The specially designed, heavy duty Divvy bikes will be comfortable for all users.

They’ll be painted “Chicago blue,” the same shade of blue on the city flag.

    Maybe it will work on the north side, but good luck on the west and south sides!

    I mean there's no way they even thought about that!!! you should contact them right away!!!! This is a great idea and will help a lot of people including myself. Quit trying to be witty you just look like a whiner.
