Bush presidential library opens today

George W. Bush’s presidential library will be dedicated today in Dallas.

It will feature exhibits on 9/11, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and other issues of the Bush presidency.

Ahead of the grand opening, the former President and First Lady Laura Bush his wife sat down for an interview.

Bush shared his thoughts about life after the White House.

He compared leaving the presidency with going from 100 miles per hour to zero miles per hour.

Bush said he is content to spend his retirement out of the limelight, and he believes his presidency advanced the cause of peace and freedom, and improved the human condition around the world.

President Obama and former presidents George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter will all be on hand for today’s dedication.
