Attorneys are presenting their opening statements Tuesday in the trial of a suburban man accused of arranging the murders of three people in Darien.
Johnny Borizov of Willow Springs is charged with murder and solicitation of murder.
He’s accused of persuading another man, Jacob Nodarse, to break into a Darien home and shoot Jeffrey and Lori Kramer and their 20-year-old son, Michael.
Nodarse has pleaded guilty but mentally ill and will testify against Borizov.
It will be the first televised murder trial in the Chicago area.
