Metra reports stopped trains and delays on nearly every line.
Some trains have not left their stations due to severe flooding.
Those that are moving are reporting delays of nearly two hours.
Metra officials say they’re expecting a normal rush hour, despite the residual delays from Thursday morning. The only potential problem will be the BNSF Line that goes out to Aurora. Flooding in the western suburbs may cause trains to operate at slower speeds.
