Darien family murder trial to begin with cameras present
Jury selection begins Tuesday for the murders of three family members in Darien.
Johnny Borizov is charged with murder, solicitation, and conspiracy.
His murder trial will be the first, in the Chicago area, to be televised.
Borizov is accused of orchestrating the deaths of Jeffrey and Lori Kramer and their son Michael.
All three were shot and killed in their home in Darien in March of 2010.
Prosecutors say Borizov convinced Jacob Nodarse to commit the murders because he was in a child custody dispute with the Kramers’ daughter.
Nodarse pleaded guilty, but mentally ill.
He’s expected to testify, but the defense says he’s not a credible witness.
