Wrigley deal includes jumbotron, more night games

The Cubs and the City of Chicago have a deal to renovate Wrigley Field.

The agreement reached Sunday will allow the Cubs to put up a jumbotron screen in left field, and extend the left field bleachers.

A see-through advertising sign will go up in right field.

The Cubs will build a hotel and office complex and connect it to the ballpark with a sky-walk over Clark Street, and the team gets 10 more night games a year.

The specifics need to be approved by city planners, and survive a potential lawsuit by the Wrigley rooftop clubs.

Construction could start at the end of this season.
