Gay-friendly hotel heading to “Boystown” possibly
A gay-friendly hotel may be heading to Chicago’s “Boystown” area.
Parkview Developers LLC, based in New York, is looking to build a 112-room hotel at Aldine and Halsted.
The developer would call it “Out Chicago.” It would be modeled after its “Out NYC,” which opened about a year ago.
The proposed hotel would include an enclosed atrium that could serve as event space, a full spa and gym, a rooftop bar, a restaurant and retail space.
The firm is expected to pitch its plans at a neighborhood meeting on Thursday.
