The forecast for the Cubs home opener calls for mostly cloudy and breezy conditions with temperatures in the low 60s at the first pitch. A stray shower can’t be ruled out this afternoon as highs reach the mid to upper 60s.
A chance for scattered showers returns tonight and showers are likely again on Tuesday as highs reach the 60s. Wednesday looks cooler as the chance of rain will remain likely.
Thursday and Friday are expected to be much cooler with highs only in the 40s. Scattered showers during the day Thursday could change to some snow showers Thursday evening. We’ll hang onto the chance for a little snow/rain Friday.
