Grandmother, grandson charged in murder of grandfather

Bail was set at $500,000 for an elderly woman now charged along with her grandson, in the murder of her husband.

Prosecutors say Janet Strickland, 64, and her grandson conspired to kill chi-cops-grandmother-charged-in-killing-of-hus-00172-year-old William Strickland.

Then, they used his money to buy a car, home furnishings, tattoos and other items.

William Strickland was shot to death last month, while waiting for a ride to his dialysis appointment.

His grandson, who has the same name, has already been charged with murder.

Now those are some of those Chicago values that rham was talking about. These two killed a family member for money just imagine what they would do to anybody else for a buck. Kill these two savages.

Rahm is correct. We don’t reflect Chicago’s values. When is he going to pass out the free basketballs? The line will be endless.

This is one of the most sickening items I've ever read. A grandmother working with her grandson to kill his grandfather! Where is the family love here? I am not sure if greed or stupidity is the motive here. I hope they both get life sentences.

They to be tortured until they die from the agony. Why allow them live? What purpose would life in prison serve?

Bring back the death penalty! The criminals have nothing to fear. The judicial system is flawed, but is slowly on its rise again towards justice. If the criminals aren't scared, then the people are. Put the monsters in the ground, before they put the innocent there.

This is so sad, yet it is nothing new. Families have been killing each other over money since the beginning of time. What is there to gain? Once the money is gone, what have you got?. You are still in the same position you were before you got the money, only worse. They should be horsewhipped. They should have no mercy. God will find a fit punishment for them. In fact, Grandma looks like she is on her last leg.
