Driver thrown from car in crash

A driver died early Saturday morning when that person crashed his or her car into a wooden fence in Niles.

It happened around 3 a.m. near the intersection of Caldwell and Oakton.

The impact of the crash sent the driver through the windshield.

Officials pronounced that person dead on the scene.

The victim has not been identified.
