Cubs, city to keep talking about Wrigley renovation

The Chicago Cubs’ owners have backed off their self-imposed April 1 deadline for an agreement on the renovation of Wrigley Field.

With the deadline now passed, club officials plan to keep talking today with representatives of the city.

The Cubs want to add a Jumbotron screen and other new signs, and they want more night games to raise revenue for repairs and improvements to the ballpark.

But neighbors, especially Wrigleyville rooftop club owners, are fighting the club’s plans.

How many of these neighbors moved in After the ballpark was built? The neighborhood is called wrigleyville because the park was always the main attraction to that part of the city!
