It doesn’t look like the Chicago Cubs will reach a deal on Wrigley Field renovations, by their deadline.

The team wanted to have a plan by Monday, that would allow to renovate Wrigley Field.

WRIGLEY MARQUEEThe Ricketts family offered to pay for it, but they also want to add signs and a jumbotron to bring in more revenue.

But that would violate the stadium’s landmark status and could violate a contract the Cubs have with rooftop owners.

Team officials say they still want to know this month, whether they’ll get more flexibility to resolve some issues.

I would go to the mayor and say this. Were not asking you for a dime. You don't want to agree. Were moving to rosemont. Then the mayor can explain all the money the city lost due to his discussion..
