The day began at Daley Plaza for some with and Easter sunrise service, now a yearly tradition sponsored by the Thomas More Society.
On the West Side, love was on the menu at Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly where volunteers took time out to prepare and deliver care packages and meals to those throughout the city.
Sky high at Willis Tower, families came to eat brunch, take in the power of bunny and peer onto the world below in their Easter best.
And at Holy Name Cathedral, the faithful lined down the street, waiting to hear Francis Cardinal George who has recently returned from electing a new pope.
