Northwest side bank robbed by “bully bandit”

A man who robbed a bank on the city’s Northwest side Friday afternoon, may be responsible for a string of robberies in the past five months.

Video surveillance shows the man as he entered a Plaza Bank branch in the Belmont Central neighborhood about 1:40 p.m. Friday.

Police have dubbed him the “bully bandit.”

The man walked into the bank at 5601 W. Belmont Ave., implied he had a gun, and demanded cash. The teller handed it overĀ  and the robber ran off.

The FBI believes this was at least his 10th heist.

The reward for his capture has been raised to $15,000.

    ohhhh NO!!! The Bully Bandit!! I am so scared!! Wow, he has a limp noodle!! THE FBI have nothing better to do than to hunt the Bully Bandit!! Whatever shall we do?? He might try to steal ALL the candy from the Easter Bunny! We must put out an APB on this guy!! Who knows where else he may strike! All the forces of, DUH shall be brought down upon this boogey man! Really, this guy has no gun,, what does he say,, boo? Try, saving our children from killers than wasting valuable resources searching for the Bully!!

      Let the gang bangers keep killing each other. Chicago offers no other way out if its gang problem than to allow it to self destruct.
