A man who robbed a bank on the city’s Northwest side Friday afternoon, may be responsible for a string of robberies in the past five months.
Video surveillance shows the man as he entered a Plaza Bank branch in the Belmont Central neighborhood about 1:40 p.m. Friday.
Police have dubbed him the “bully bandit.”
The man walked into the bank at 5601 W. Belmont Ave., implied he had a gun, and demanded cash. The teller handed it over and the robber ran off.
The FBI believes this was at least his 10th heist.
The reward for his capture has been raised to $15,000.
