2 held in murder of 3-year-old

Two people are in custody in connection with the murder of a three-year old girl who was under the care of the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services.

There are no charges against the pair in the death of Gina Pressley. Police say she suffered blunt force trauma to the head.

The child was staying at a home near 153rd and Walnut Road in suburban Oak Forest with a female guardian and male associates.

No response yet from DCFS officials.

The Tribune has already corrected it's story.

Not only was the child in question not in DCFS protective custody at the time of her death, as the initial press release claimed, she has never been in DCFS custody.
