A federal lawsuit has been filed against the Chicago Police Department over a shooting East Hazel Crest that killed 27-year-old Ryan Rogers.

A Chicago police detective shot and killed a man who apparently tried to run him down with his car.
It happened in south suburban Hazel Crest.
Ryan Rogers, 27, was pronounced dead after being taken to the hospital.
Rogers’ family members say they have many questions surrounding his death and has filed a lawsuit.
