Thousands apply for 700 CTA jobs at fair

3,000 people showed up to apply for 700 CTA jobs.

The line wrapped around Roberto Clemente High School for a CTA job fair Saturday.

The CTA is looking for part-time costumer service assistants to help direct train riders.

The job pays $12 to $14 dollars an hour.

This was the second CTA job fair in as many months.

    We would love to have that kind of pay in ga for part time work for rider directing.

    12-14 dollars per hour just to direct people to trains. Are they actually worth that much.

    Why only part time jobs? A City of this size should be able to provide full time jobs. I bet it is because of Obama care and the added expense it would create if they made them full time employees.
