One person was killed when their vehicle flipped over and caught fire.

It happened early Thursday morning near Fairview and 59th Street in suburban Westmont.

The SUV landed on its roof in the front yard of a home.

Firefighters put out the flames, but could not save the victim.

Police are investigating, but say the road was covered with snow and that may have been a factor in the crash.

The name of the victim has not been released.
