Survey: Women worry more than men

In a survey conducted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, about 22 percent of women said they felt worried, anxious or nervous either daily or weekly.

That compares to about 16 percent of men who said they experienced those same emotions.

Worrying has often been linked to increased stress, which can contribute to other physical and mental health complications.
