Around this time last year, I was in Cancun, Mexico – shocked to see that temperatures in Chicago were just as warm as the Yucatan Peninsula. This year, we stayed home.
Sigh.
This morning we went out to Michigan Avenue to see how people were coping with the absurdly cold weather. Wind chills were right around zero degrees at that time. Yes, it’s March 20, the first day of Spring, and it felt like ZERO POINT ZERO outside.
We ran into quite a few tourists who were “Spring Breaking” in Chicago, along with some locals. My feature will be posted above after it airs on the WGN News at Five.
