Twelve years in prison, and five years of supervision was the sentence for the disgraced pastor of an Indiana mega-church who had sex with an underage girl.

Federal prosecutors say 55-year-old Jack Schaap told the girl Jesus Christ wanted them to have sex.

He was fired by the First Baptist Church of Hammond last summer.

Schaap pleaded guilty to taking a minor across state lines for sexual purposes.
