Casey Urlacher, brother of Chicago Bear Brian, is in the running to become the next mayor of north suburban Mettawa, population: 547.

10 years ago, Casey Urlacher attended training camp with the Bears and later played arena football for three seasons.

On his website bio, he lists earning a B.A. from Lake Forest College of Economics and Business and civic experience as a member of both the Lake County Chamber of Commerce and the Preservation Foundation of the Lake County Forest Preserve.

This is Casey Urlacher’s first run at a public office.
