Chicago janitor turns millionaire after winning lottery
Hakmat Yalda is picking up a seven-figure check Tuesday, courtesy of the Illinois Lottery.
He bought the winning quick-pick ticket, worth $1 million at a 7-Eleven at Foster and Kimball.
Yalda says he moved to Chicago from Iraq five years ago.
He works two janitorial jobs to support his family.
He says he plans to use the money to buy a house.
