Family and friends are mourning the death of a 16-year-old boy who was shot and killed in Gage Park. It was one of at least nine shootings this weekend.
The 16-year-old was shot in the 2400 block of West 58th St at about 7 p.m. Saturday.
Police say the boy stepped out of a gang-way then someone in a car shot him.
He died at Mount Sinai Hospital.
Two unrelated shootings involved 15-year-old boys.
One on the south side and another shot and wounded at Pratt and Clark on the north side.
Both teens survived.
