27 displaced after Albany Park fire; No injuries

No one was injured in a fire in the Albany Park neighborhood  on the Northwest Side.
The fire broke out early today in a 3-story apartment building in the 4800 block of North Lawndale.
27 people, including a dozen children, were displaced by the fire.
The Red Cross assisted residents who needed shelter.
No word yet on a cause of the fire but a Fire Department spokesman says it started on the building’s back porches.
