Why do they need a plea deal when the evidence is overwhelming? Seems like a "fastfood" justice system here. Just for the sake of delivering swift and cost-efficient justice. That thug will just do about three to five years of time. The parents of the victims shouldn't be allowing the prosecutors to accept the plea.

That kids parents should sue that guy for wrongful death.

What the fuck? Plea deal?

Why are they offering a deal??? The only 'deal that I'd offer this killer is which arm he wants the needle in…They have the death penalty in Indiana, don't they??

It is unbelievable to me how completely classless all these posts are. And of course one sided. Would it make a difference if you knew this young man was defending his sister who was bullied with racial slurs? This was not a beach brawl. It was a tragic accident in a boy defending himself and his sister again teenagers known to have drinking issues. And hugely outnumbered. He threw one punch to get himself and his sister out of the situation. This was not intentional or anyone acting like a tough guy – in fact it's the other way around. These posts sicken me because it makes it seem as if anyone with an opinion lacks class, and empathy.

Classless Clueless – great name, sums you up terrifically. If Malecek was acting out of self defense and is such a nice guy he wouldn't have plead guilty. That alone says it all. Please don't make things up, you were not there you don't know what was said and what wasn't. It's not fair for you to toss around accusations such as "known to have drinking issues".
