A march took place Saturday on the city’s South Side to honor the memory of 6-month-old Jonylah Watkins.
Police say her father was the target when they were shot last Monday.
The baby was hit five times and died the next morning.
Dozen’s marched from 63rd and Calumet to 65th and Maryland.
Services for Jonylah are scheduled for Tuesday at Pastor Corey Brooks’ New Beginnings Church at 66th and King.

Instead of having a march, which does nothing. Why don't you help the police find this scumbag? Instead of not talking to cops for fear of retaliation, stand up for your community and help the police. I know it's much easier to just have a march, and then stand back and blame the cops for not finding this thug. But nobody is going to help you until you start helping yourself. Everybody is sick and tired of it, and the sympathy for what your doing to each other is starting to fade.

first and for most have sum sympathy for the family tht baby was insent whom ever did this need 2 repent 2 god and than turn thereself in 2 the police how can u sleep @nite knowing u did this 2 a lil baby and as pastor corey brooks said we need 2 all cum together and help save our lil children because its dangerous everywhere we go but my statement is 2 the shooter u killed a lil baby please turn urself in 2 the police asap and my prayer is tht god heal the land…god bless everyone who reads this……
