A man in his 30’s is killed in a shooting involving Chicago police early Saturday morning on the city’s Northwest Side.
An unmarked police SUV was following the car.
After the driver came to a stop, he shot at police and they returned fire, fatally striking him.
Fraternal Order of Police Spokesman Patrick Camden said two officers injured themselves diving for cover as the man opened fire.
Both were taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, he said.
