Gov Quinn blasts Oak Park school for firing brother as coach

Governor Quinn is fighting mad and not about politics.

Today he blasted Fenwick High School in Oak Park for firing his brother as basketball coach.

John quinn coached the team for close to 30 years and has more than 4oo victories.

The governor says his brother got a raw deal.

A vice president at the high school responded to  the controversial firing saying, “We decided to make a change in our basketball program. He was a basketball coach for many years and we valued his service. John Quinn is still a member of our faculty.”

John Quinn still teaches honors history at Fenwick.
