Funeral arrangements set for 2 teens killed in crash
Funeral arrangements have been set for two more of the teens who were killed in a car crash in Will County.
A memorial visitation for 17-year-old Cheyenne Fender will be held Saturday at Anderson Memorial Chapel in Romeoville from 3 p.m. – 7 p.m.
A visitation and video tribute will be held on Thursday March 14, 2013 for 14-year-old Matthew James Bailey. It will be held at Freitag-Reeves & Baskerville Funeral Home in Wilmington from 3p.m. – 8p.m. Private family funeral services will follow Friday.
The two teens along with 15-year-olds Micalah Sembach and Cody Carter were killed when their vehicle flew-off a bridge, and plunged into Forked Creek Monday night. Their car sank to the bottom upside down, and the four victims drowned.
It’s not clear yet how their two-door Mitsubishi wound up in the creek, but there may have been standing water, even ice, on the road. The accident is currently under investigation.
Visitation for Cody Carter will be at the R.W. Patterson Funeral Homes, Ltd. & Crematory, Braidwood Chapel, Saturday, March 16, 2013, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Funeral service will also be Saturday, March 16, at 1:00 p.m.
