The owner of a south side scrap yard is being held on $25,000 dollars bond for allegedly helping thieves steal and then scrap eight school buses.
Sergio Quintero is charged with illegal possession of auto titles.
Police say they found the scraps of the stolen buses, embedded with GPS tracking devices after being taken from the Sunrise Bus Company early Friday morning.
The buses had been shredded and the scrap sold for about $3500 dollars a bus.
Police took three others into custody on Friday.

Sell his scrap yard to the highest bidder and make him pay for those buses.
