The deaths of two elderly people in their Burbank home have now been ruled homicides.
Burbank Police Dept released a statement this afternoon saying results of the autopsies performed on the two people confirm they were homicide victims.
The statement identifies the victims as 78-year-old Peter Mountain and 80-year-old Sally Lopez.
The bodies were discovered in a bedroom in their home in the 6400 block of West 83rd Place Wednesday morning by a relative who then called police.
Both victims had died of apparent gunshot wounds.

My prediction: These poor older people were killed by someone that they knew and thought that they could trust. This age group came from a time when TRUST wasn't a joke like it is now… OR it could be someone saying they were from the gas company. etc., with a uniform. My experience is that this age group also has respect for a uniform. Very, very sad case….Hope they catch the killers and do the same thing to them!!!
