Police near Grand Rapids, Michigan are in a standoff with a woman who attacked her parents with a hatchet.
Negotiators and a swat team in the town of Wyoming are surrounding the house.
The attack happened around midnight. Both of the woman’s parents managed to ecsape the house.
The mother is hospitalized in stable condition, the father was treated and released.
No word on a motive for the attack.
